Abstract

creasing pressure is being placed upon the chicken meat industry to reduce odour and dust emissions from poultry sheds. Recent research has identified that ventilation rate significantly influenced the odour emission rate from meat chicken sheds.

The information provided in this report will enable producers, consultants and regulators to improve their knowledge of ventilation requirements for tunnel ventilated poultry sheds.
