Abstract

This field guide is designed to assist lychee growers to identify the major pests, natural enemies, disorders and diseases they may see in their orchards. A section has been added which highlights significant pest and disease threats which are not currently recorded in Australia. Lychees are produced from Cooktown in far north Queensland to Coffs Harbour in northern New South Wales, many of the pests and diseases in this publication are common to all growing areas, but growers may encounter other problems which are not included.
