Ecological Risk Assessment of the Queensland Coral Fishery 2013

Abstract

This report provides a summary of risk outcomes and discussion based on an ecological risk assessment workshop for the Queensland Coral Fishery held in Brisbane on 20-21 May 2013. Of the 80 species of sea anemone, hard and soft corals assessed at the workshop, 65 were classified as low risk and 15 as moderate risk. Mitigation measures were developed in a subsequent workshop with industry and scientists and implemented through their stewardship action plan.
