Abstract

Eupyrgota Coquillett is newly reported from Australia, based on a female specimen of the widespread species E. (Taeniomastix) pictiventris (Hendel, 1914) collected in Cairns in northern Queensland and an undescribed species from the Iron Range area of Cape York Peninsula, NE Queensland.
