Studies of waterfowl (Anatidae) in north Queensland. 2. Parasite records

Abstract

During 1958-1964, extensive collecting of waterfowl was undertaken in north-eastern Queensland around Townsville, from Ingham to Bowen and inland to Powlathanga (see Lavery 1966); collecting on a smaller scale was conducted elsewhere in north Queensland. Forty-four new records of parasites of waterfowl collected in north Queensland during 1958-1964 are presented.
