Abstract

These are three parts of a series containing the results of a survey in 1960-64 of the insects and mites that attack stored products in Queensland, and the information in them resembles in scope and arrangement that given in the first part [RAE A 55 1364]. The following paragraphs are based on parts of the author's summaries. Most of the 41 Hymenopterous species of 11 families listed are recognised parasites or hyperparasites of pests of stored products. Their contribution to the suppression of pest populations is slight, and they rarely become prevalent until high populations of their hosts are present and severe damage has been caused.
