Abstract

This chapter focuses on the most significant zoonotic pathogens (Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Campylobacter, Cryptosporidium, Giardia and viruses) that are derived from manure, the modes by which humans become exposed to these organisms and the significance of the diseases caused.
