Abstract

In a series of field trials in 1963-8, Rhodes grass was sown shortly after removal and burning of brigalow scrub. After 5 weeks brigalow sucker emergence reached 10% of greatest emergence and subsequently the rate increased rapidly to 80% at 15 weeks.
