Abstract

The Agromyzidae of Queensland included in this study belong to two subfamilies, Agromyzinae and Phytomyzinae, and comprise 16 species in nine genera. Three of the genera-Melanagromyza, Cerodontha and Haplomyza~ontain the seven species indigenous to this State. The other species are in the genera Ophiomyia, Phytobia, Liriomyza, Phytomyza, Pseudonapomyza and Melanagromyza.
