Abstract

In connection with quarantine measures against the introduction into Victoria of Dacus cucumis French, an important pest of cucurbits in Queensland, infested cucumbers were successfully disinfected by fumigation with 1,2-dibromoethane at 12 g/m3 for 2 h at 20 deg C.
