Potato variety trials in south-eastern Queensland

Abstract

Data on tuber yield, growth and tuber characteristics, quality and disease resistance are presented for twelve varieties. While the results indicated the superior yielding potential of the late-maturing varieties Bungama, Sequoia and Kurrel over the commercial variety Sebago, certain external and internal quality features detracted from their commercial value.
