Abstract

Differences between the tropical and higher latitude Citrus-growing areas and practices are discussed. The biology, monitoring, economic thresholds, control and damage caused by several pests including mites, scales, mealybugs, whiteflies and blackflies, aphids, planthoppers and leafhoppers, midges, thrips, true bugs and Lepidopteran, Coleopteran and Dipteran pests infesting the crop are presented.
