Abstract

The October 2025 fishery-independent survey provided new information on Ballot’s saucer scallop abundance across three trawl regions. Older scallop abundance in the southern inshore region remained below the limit reference point, although some replenishment areas had higher densities. The southern offshore region had more young scallops and moderate older-scallop biomass. Central-region densities were similar to those in the southern regions.
