Abstract

This project evaluated pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan L.) as a high-value summer pulse for the GRDC Northern Region, focusing on its potential for broad-scale dryland production. Rising demand for pigeonpea in India, its nitrogen-fixing ability, and its resilience make pigeonpea a promising option.
