AbstractThe HIA project, “Delivering Mango Information and Technology to the Mango Industry” (DMT2), builds upon the achievements of predecessor HAL projects to improve the adoption and use of new information resources by mango growers and supply chain partners. Communicating information and training resources in a relevant and timely manner to growers and stakeholders across the geographically diverse Australian mango industry, continues to be recognized as a major industry challenge. “Delivering Mango Information and Technology to the Mango Industry” has investigated and tested a range of technologies to help facilitate improved management and access of information and technology tools for mango growers. Using a range of methods, including training manuals, workshops, events and the use of web based technology including the Australian Mango Industry Association (AMIA) website and the two key state/territory government (Queensland and Northern Territory) websites, DMT2 has piloted the use of electronic mango information delivery techniques and has helped build industry knowledge and resources.
