Abstract

This project addressed major issues identified by the National Strawberry Industry in its strategic plan (Strawberries Australia, 1997). Key issues identified in the plan included the need to improve the quality of planting material, the development of nutrition, irrigation, pest and disease management systems for sustainable production, and the development of information packages for growers.
